Shafia T.T London is a multifaceted, passionate and results driven Vincentian woman. She first prides herself on being a mother to two sons, a wife, and a loyal friend.
She is currently employed with the global beverage company ABI and serves as the Country head in Barbados, St.Vincent and Dominica in the simultaneous capacity of CEO of St. Vincent Brewery Ltd , Dominica Brewery and Beverages Ltd; and Banks Holdings Limited Group of Companies, Barbados. She is the first woman to hold that post in each of the three (3) companies, which have a combined existence of over 120 years. Shafia has held other roles, most notably Executive Director of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce at the tender age of 23. She is also an active entrepreneur.
She holds a master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from the prestigious University College London. She also holds a MBA with distinction from the Sagicor School of Business, Cavehill. She also holds bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours from University of the West Indies, St. Augustine with Majors in Biochemistry and Minors in Human Resource management and Communication. She is an SVG Island Scholar (2003).
Despite her active career and academic pursuits, she finds time to give back to the community with her numerous private philanthropic initiatives. She is also a Rotarian and was appointed the first female President in her local club over 4 decades of existence. She now serves as Assistant Governor in the Rotary’s Southern Caribbean region. In her downtime, Shafia loves to garden, read and she enjoys writing commentaries. She lives by her modified version of a well-known mantra live, love, laugh and learn.
